Tallahassee All-Club Annual Auto-Rama
Oct. 18, 2008
The annual gathering of Tallahassee's auto enthusiast car
clubs found a new venue this year. Devoe Moore opened up the grounds of the
Tallahassee Antique Car Museum and even gave participants discounted admission
to view the museum collection. Approximately 100 vehicles were present from car
clubs representing different marques as well as the general "cruising"
organizations. The local car dealership, All American Ford provided sponsorship
and provided refreshments and food at a good price. Each year participants are
asked to bring stuffed animals for the Florida Highway Patrol to give to
children encountered in their daily activities. This year we again successfully
"stuffed" an FHP patrol vehicle to overflowing. Next year they may want to bring
a bigger vehicle?
The TRAACA club banner flew and we were able to distribute magazines and
other materials promoting our club and hobby.
